HR Business Partner
Are you passionate about people, culture, and supporting leaders to drive business results? Do you thrive in a dynamic production environment where operational excellence meets innovation? We are now looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Skövde plant, working as part of our local HR team and reporting to the Plant HR Manager. In this role, you will partner closely with managers across the plant to deliver both strategic and hands-on HR support, ensuring a safe, high-performing, and engaging workplace.
About the Role
As HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to managers within your assigned areas, providing guidance and support in all people-related matters. You will work in close collaboration with the Plant HR Manager and the broader HR team to implement people strategies aligned with business goals, while ensuring compliance with Swedish labor law, collective agreements, and company policies.
Your work will range from strategic initiatives such as workforce planning and change management to daily operational HR topics, always with a focus on building a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with managers to understand their people-related needs and provide tailored HR solutions.
- Support the implementation of strategic workforce planning models, including training, development, and upskilling initiatives.
- Address misconduct and performance issues, lead rehabilitation processes, mediate conflicts, and promote employee well-being.
- Partner in change management initiatives and facilitate smooth organizational transitions.
- Drive the performance management process, ensuring fair and timely evaluations, and use workforce data to identify trends and improvement areas.
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance employee engagement, retention, and alignment with company culture.
- Actively contribute to a constructive and trust-based collaboration with local unions.
- Lead and participate in negotiations with trade unions, ensuring constructive outcomes and alignment with Swedish labor law and collective agreements.
Experiences and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably within a production or industrial environment.
- Deep understanding of Swedish labor law, work environment legislation, and union collaboration, with proven experience in negotiations.
- Solid experience in both strategic HR initiatives and operational HR support.
- Skilled in coaching leaders, managing employee relations, and supporting cultural change.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality.
- Fluency in Swedish and English is required; additional languages are a plus.
Experience with the Teknikavtalet IF Metall, as well as HR challenges related to shift work and working time arrangements, is an advantage

With passion and determination, we design, develop and produce advanced hybrid and electric components for a global market – always with a focus on quality, innovation and a lean manufacturing process.
