As Category Manager you will strategically source goods and services to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and supply chain reliability and sustainability.
As a Category Manager for Facility and Industrial Operations (Facility Management, MRO and Logistics) you will be part of our fantastic Indirect Procurement (IDP) team located in Sweden and China. We are a diverse team, and you will meet lots of caring and collaborative people with different backgrounds. You will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the cost-effective procurement of goods and services.

Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 5-10 years proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or category management, preferably in a similar industry.
- You are motivated to find new solutions and opportunities and dare to challenge status quo with our suppliers and our stakeholders
- Can manage parallel projects and see the whole picture of a business case and are a strong team player who are honest and actively work with self-development.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication (English and Swedish) and interpersonal skills.
Your role at Aurobay
As a Category Manager you will:
- Develop and implement category strategies to optimize procurement processes and drive cost savings.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities and potential risks in the supply chain. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure alignment with procurement strategies.
- Coach, lead and mentor team members to enhance their skills, foster collaboration, and drive the procurement team towards achieving strategic objectives
- Category team facilitation: Lead planning events, remove impediments and facilitate problem-solving, collaboration and workload sharing to enable the most effective work delivery by the category team
- Intake and Backlog management: Own, prioritize and secure the Procurement deliveries by the global category team to maximize the business value through the whole lifecycle.
